The American video game company ‘Rockstar Games’ has announced prices and gameplay for the most-awaited game series, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6.
Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026. The announcement follows earlier delays from the studio’s original 2025 target.
While Rockstar has shared limited details so far, anticipation remains high among fans who are waiting for more information about gameplay before deciding whether to buy the title.
Pricing expectations
Rockstar has not officially announced pricing. However, several industry analysts expect the standard edition to cost between $80 and $100 in the United States.
Special or collector’s editions, which may include digital bonuses, could be priced higher.
Regional prices have not yet been confirmed. In countries such as Pakistan, final retail costs will depend on exchange rates and local distribution.

The company has announced the price of the game country-wise, making it easy for the fans to understand how much they will need to spend to access the best gaming experience.
USA
For the United States of America, the following rates are being released: $124.19. There will be only a digital version available at the time.
Furthermore, the game is not currently purchasable as the company has yet to release the mega project.
UK
The United Kingdom (UK) fans, also known as England, will get access to the game in following rates:
1- Xbox Series X|S – 89.99 pounds
2-PC- Rockstar Games launcher – 60.99 pounds
European states
If the fans want to have a reach in GTA 6, they will have to contribute the following fee to get the most excellent experience of the game.
1- Xbox Series X|S – 104.39 euros
2-PC- Rockstar Games launcher – 70.79 euros
Speculations regarding release date
According to a post on X formerly known as Twitter, Grand Theft Auto 6 will now launch on April 18, 2027.
It was believed by the players that the game would be out in the middle of the current year 2026.
Platforms and PC release
The game is set to launch first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not confirmed a PC release date.
Many observers believe a PC version could follow later, similar to previous Rockstar titles, which were initially released on consoles before arriving on computer platforms.
Setting and gameplay
According to Rockstar, the game will feature two main playable characters, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The dual-character format is expected to allow players to switch between storylines as events unfold.
The story is set in the fictional state of Leonida, which includes a modern version of Vice City. The setting is inspired by Miami and southern Florida.
