Following India, Afghanistan has also termed the fugitive YouTuber Adil Raja, who disseminates fake news against Pakistan and its institutions, a seasoned journalist.
The Indian media, aka fake news machine, called the YouTuber to its shows and declared him as an analyst. The Afghan media also followed in their footsteps and called him a seasoned journalist and expert analyst.
The claim lacks facts as Adil Raja has been officially declared as a fugitive as he uses his platform to spread fake news to earn dollars from YouTube and other digital platforms.
Adil Raja was declared a fugitive
The Cabinet Division earlier approved a summary declaring absconding individual Adil Raja a “proscribed person” under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1977.
According to available documents, the summary was prepared following a comprehensive review conducted by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in coordination with relevant security institutions. All key aspects were examined in detail before the summary was forwarded to the Cabinet Division, which subsequently granted its approval.
Following the approval, the legal implications of declaring Adil Raja a proscribed person have been formally outlined. The decision imposes a complete travel ban, barring him from travelling for any purpose. He will also face employment restrictions, rendering him ineligible for any form of job.
Sources further confirmed that he has been barred from participating in political activities. His passport will no longer be eligible for renewal, and its non-renewal forms part of the decision. In addition, financial sanctions have been imposed, including a financial embargo and a ban on all monetary transactions.
Court ordered Adil Raja to apologise to Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer
Earlier this month, a High Court judge in the United Kingdom ordered Raja to publicly apologise to Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer following a defamation case.
The order was issued after Raja lost a defamation case in October, in which the court ruled that allegations he made against Brigadier (retd) Naseer were unfounded.
Adil Raja admits to defaming Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer
After a High Court order, YouTuber Adil Raja has admitted that he made false allegations against Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer.
In a statement submitted to the London High Court, Adil Raja accepted that he has no defence for the accusations he made.
According to Deputy Judge Richard Spearman, Adil Raja must pay £50,000 in damages to Rashid Naseer under the court’s 9 October 2025 ruling.
He has also been ordered to pay £260,000 in initial legal costs.
The judge warned that if Raja fails to follow the court order, it will be considered contempt of court, which could lead to fines, jail time, or seizure of assets.
