Geo-location analysis shows that Pakistan’s armed forces have hit Afghanistan’s military backbone. The strikes have targeted the largest military compounds in the Pul-e-Charkhi area, east of Kabul, adjacent to the Kabul-Nangarhar Highway.
According to the assessment, both of the strikes seem to have struck elongated hangar-like buildings located within the compound’s perimeter. The initial detonation is thought to have occurred in the north part of the facility and the second apparently hit the south east of the facility.
The coordinates that are reported are as follows:
Northern Explosion: 34.561032, 69.367823
Southeastern Explosion: 34.564363, 69.369704
So far, there has not been any official confirmation by either Pakistani or Afghan authorities on the reported strikes and no information has been given about possible casualties or the extent of damage.
If confirmed the incident would be a significant development in the regional security situation.
This is a developing story…
