DG ISPR holds press conference on Pakistan Afghanistan situation

DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held an important press conference today, on Friday.

In the press conference, he briefed the media on the successes achieved as a result of the Pakistan Army’s counter offensive in response to the unprovoked aggression of the Afghan Taliban and the latest Pak Afghan situation.

DG ISPR said that the hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij were targeted on the night of February 21 and 22.

He said that so far, 274 Khawarij have been killed and 400 have been injured. It was further informed that 73 posts have been completely destroyed, while 17 posts are occupied by the Pakistan Army.

The Prime Minister has been informed about all the progress of Operation Ghazb-lil-Haq.

The DG ISPR also stated that no civilians were killed in Afghanistan and that all destroyed posts were military targets involved in attacks against Pakistan.

According to DG ISPR, 115 tanks and armoured vehicles of the Afghan Taliban were destroyed. He said that Pakistan gave such an effective response that the whole world saw it.

Indian media is spreading lies about civilians killed in Ghazab lil-Haq, DG ISPR added. He also stated that Pakistan had fulfilled India’s desire for war in Bunyan-um-Marsoos, and is now fulfilling the Afghan Taliban’s.

DG ISPR said that the Prime Minister has been given a detailed briefing regarding Operation Ghazb-ul-Haq.

The response to Afghan aggression continues and will not end until directed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the DG ISPR further added.

DG ISPR said that the terrorists, afraid of the retaliation of the Pakistani forces, fled, leaving the bodies of their comrades behind.

He further said that attempts were made to attack Sibi, Abbottabad and Nowshera using drones, but the terrorists were given exactly the response they should have received.

The DG ISPR said that just as the entire nation stood united in the fight for justice, similar scenes were witnessed yesterday as well.

Operation Ghazab lil-Haq

The security forces officially launched operation “Ghazab lil-Haq,” Righteous Fury, in response to unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban across multiple border sectors.

Pakistan’s security forces are responding with full force to unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime.

Pakistan’s strong response to unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban is underway, with 133 militants killed and hundreds injured, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar said.

They said an attempt by the Afghan Taliban to attack Pakistani security forces’ check posts using quadcopter drones failed.
