Afghan militant groups Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) have called for attacks inside Pakistan, according to statements circulating online.
In separate messages, the groups urged their members to carry out operations across the country. The statements claim the actions would be in support of the Afghan Taliban authorities.
The TTP ringleader, Noor Wali Mehsood, has instructed its followers to launch attacks across Pakistan. A separate statement linked to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar carried a similar message.
Security officials in Pakistan have not yet issued a detailed public response to the latest claims.
However, authorities have previously described both groups as banned organisations involved in militant violence.
Context of statements released
A document is circulating online, bearing the name Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and the title Mufti Abu Mansoor Asim Aamir, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which clearly outlines instructions to regional officials.
The instructions have been forwarded to all of the provincial commissioners (North, South, Central, West)
The letter says, “All provincial commissioners are directed to instruct all district commanders, local leaders, and affiliated members under their command that if Pakistan launches military action against Afghanistan, they must immediately begin major operations within Pakistan.”
“Pakistan has sided with the infidels and is participating in actions against the Islamic country of Afghanistan. Therefore, it is necessary that our fighters intensify their operations”, the letter further instructs the militants.
There is also a media team activated by the Afghan Taliban, as the letter says, “In the current situation, the role of media is very important. Share videos of your operations immediately on social media. There is no need to send them to the central media office first. News and operational details should be shared promptly.”
At the end, it said, “And Allah grants success to whom He wills.”
Attacks expected in Punjab, Sindh
The Afghan Taliban have also clearly called on the militants to intensify the bombing operations in the provinces of Punjab and Sindh.
TTP and Jammat-ul-Ahrar leadership said it in a letter sent to the militants operating in Pakistan.
The letter says, “It is directed to all the mujahideen of the Jamaat that they should carry out continuous and intense operations against the oppressive Pakistani regime in retaliation for their brutalities and violations against the innocent people of Afghanistan, their soil, women, children, and elderly.”
The Afghan terrorist leaders further said in their letter, “All mujahideen, especially those in Punjab and Sindh provinces, and in the major cities of these provinces, should now implement organised and systematic operations against the oppressive regime using their own resources and methods. They should make the regime’s centres tremble.”
Current scenario of the Pak-Afghan war
In response to the unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban regime, which started yesterday, on February 27, 2026, the security forces are continuing their attacks, giving a full and effective response to the enemy.
