Islamabad is clear IG Islamabad

Inspector General (IG) Islamabad police, Ali Nasir Rizvi, said while speaking to the well-known Azaad Digital that all the areas of Islamabad are clear and protestors have left for their homes. 

He also said that life is back to normal in the federal capital after the peaceful protests in solidarity with Iran.

IG Islamabad said while speaking to a journalist that, “there is complete normalcy in the city.”

All the sensitive areas of the federal capital are clear, IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi confirmed.

Earlier, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was martyred in the joint strike of the United States (US) and Israel.
After the news of Khamenei’s death, protestors came out on the streets of Islamabad to record their peaceful protest.

However, several reports confirmed that the protests in the different areas were completely peaceful.

On the other hand, the federal minister Mohsin Naqvi also urged protestors to stay peaceful.

IG Islamabad also praised the Islamabad police and other law enforcement agencies for tackling the situation carefully.

Islamabad police said that the officials carried out aerial firing to disperse protestors near Serena Chowk. However, not a single citizen got injured due to aerial firing.

The Islamabad police also confirmed that the situation at Serena Chowk is under control.
