Pakistan set 275-run target for Bangladesh in 2nd ODI

Pakistan have set Bangladesh a target of 275 runs to win in the second One-Day International at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 274 runs in 47.3 overs.

Moaz Sadaqat led Pakistan’s batting with a blistering knock of 75 runs off 46 balls, hitting six fours and five sixes. Salman Ali Agha also made a valuable contribution, scoring 64 runs before being run out.

Batting first after Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field, Pakistan struggled to build big partnerships despite a few notable contributions.

Salman Ali Agha anchored the innings with 64 runs, striking seven boundaries and two sixes. Mohammad Rizwan added 44 runs, while opener Sahibzada Farhan contributed 31. Faheem Ashraf chipped in with 14 runs as Pakistan attempted to stabilise the middle order.

Bangladesh’s bowling attack kept Pakistan under pressure throughout the innings. Rashad Hossain was the standout performer with three wickets, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed two crucial dismissals to restrict Pakistan’s scoring.
