The Pakistan armed forces have achieved a great victory over the Afghan Taliban regime by destroying their military camp in Nangarhar, Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s security officials say the country’s armed forces carried out strikes against Afghan Taliban military installations in parts of Afghanistan late on March 16, 2026, targeting facilities in Kabul and Nangarhar Province.

According to Pakistani security sources, the operation targeted logistics facilities, ammunition storage areas and technical infrastructure linked to Afghan Taliban forces.

The sources said the strikes resulted in the destruction of equipment and supply points located near military installations.

Nangarhar, Kabul attacks

Officials said two locations in Kabul were hit during the operation.

They claim that technical support infrastructure and ammunition depots were destroyed in the strikes.

Security sources also pointed to video footage circulating online, saying the flames seen after the strike were caused by secondary explosions, which they say indicated the presence of a large quantity of stored explosives.

The Afghan Taliban, who currently govern Afghanistan, have offered a different account of the incident.

A spokesperson for the Taliban administration, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that a medical facility had been targeted in the attack.

Pakistani security sources rejected this claim, calling it inaccurate and insisting that the strikes were directed only at military installations.

Pakistani officials also said that during operations in Nangarhar, forces targeted Afghan Taliban military positions at four separate locations.

They said the strikes were part of a broader military campaign aimed at dismantling militant infrastructure believed to threaten Pakistan’s security.

Operation “Ghazab-Lil-Haq”

Security officials said the actions were conducted under an operation described as “Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq”, which they say is intended to counter militant groups and cross-border attacks.

According to the sources, the operation will continue until its objectives are achieved.

Officials said the campaign aims to disrupt militant hideouts and supply routes used by groups involved in cross-border activity.

They added that Pakistani forces had been instructed to use their full operational capabilities while conducting the campaign.

No independent confirmation of the strikes or their impact was immediately available.
