SSGC releases Eid ul Fitr gas schedule: see when supply will be available

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a special gas supply plan for Eid ul Fitr 2026, on Thursday.

The aim is to make sure of steady gas supply during important holiday hours and to adjust timings for the following days.

The company said gas will remain available without interruption from Chand Raat until midnight on the first day of Eid. This will help households prepare their meals and celebrations without any difficulty.

On the second day of Eid, gas will be available all day. It will then be suspended from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Supply will start again on the third day at 6:00 AM and continue until midnight.

On the fourth day of Eid, gas will be available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. SSGC said it has taken steps to keep gas pressure stable and maintain line pack during the holidays.

The previous load management schedule will return from March 24. Under this schedule, gas supply will be suspended every day from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

SSGC announces Ramzan 2026 gas schedule

Earlier, Sui Southern Gas Company issued a new schedule for gas supply to consumers in Sindh and Balochistan during Ramzan.

According to sources, gas will remain available during Sehri and Iftar so that people do not face problems while preparing meals.

As per the information shared, gas supply will be restored from 12:03 AM to 10:30 PM.

Officials said that under special arrangements, gas will continue from Sehri until Iftar throughout Ramzan 2026.

The purpose of this schedule is to make things easier for domestic consumers and support their daily routines and worship during the holy month.

SSGC clarifies viral Ramzan gas timings post

Earlier, Sui Southern Gas Company said that an old social media post about Ramzan 2026 gas timings in Karachi is misleading.

The company explained that the post being shared online is from last year and is no longer valid.

It said the updated schedule for Ramzan 1447 Hijri would be shared before the first day of fasting.

Residents in Karachi were advised to follow official SSGC channels for correct updates during Ramzan 2026.

Ramzan 2026 in Pakistan is expected to begin on Thursday, February 19. However, the final date will depend on the moon sighting by the Central Ruet e Hilal Committee.
