Web desk: The First Women’s Bank has been privatised for $14 million.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir oversaw the signing ceremony.
The privatisation agreement of the First Women Bank was signed under the Government-to-Government (G2G) framework between the Government of Pakistan and the UAE’s International Holding Company.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his best wishes for Sheikh Mohammed Zayed bin Hamdan.
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister said the agreement would positively impact Pakistan’s economy and further strengthen economic relations with the United Arab Emirates.
He praised Sheikh Mohammed Zayed for his continued support and goodwill towards Pakistan, saying that joint projects between the two countries serve the interests of both nations.

Government-to-Government (G2G) means cooperation and interaction between government entities, either within a country or between different nations.
Domestically, it involves the exchange of information and data among federal, provincial, or local agencies to enhance efficiency and coordination.
Internationally, it includes diplomatic engagement, economic partnerships, and formal agreements such as trade, investment, or security collaborations.
