The board has also published the new scheme for the English compulsory paper on the official website so that the students can make proper preparations according to the exam format and structure.

According to the scheme, the English compulsory exam is divided into two divisions Objective and Subjective exam, with a total duration of 2 hours & 30 min.

Objective Section:

The objective portion will consist of 19 questions of a total of 19 marks, and the students will be provided 20 minutes for this portion.

Subjective Section:

The subjective part will comprise two sections. The first one will have short answer questions, and the second one will have students translate a paragraph into Urdu or rewrite it in simple English.

The new paper scheme is expected to help students have a better understanding of what kind of questions they are likely to appear in the examination.
