The government has announced an increase in the amount of the Benazir Income Support, Development and Educational Scholarship Program.
According to a statement issued by BISP’s official Facebook account, the Benazir Income Support Program has increased the quarterly financial assistance for women registered under the Benazir Kafalat Program, which has now been increased from Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500.
The statement further stated that, along with this, the stipend per child in the Benazir Development Program has been increased by Rs500, while the Benazir Educational Scholarships have been increased by Rs500 per student.
According to BISP, these measures are a significant step forward in supporting economically vulnerable families and further strengthening children’s education and health.

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced a major increase in financial assistance for eligible women ahead of Ramazan, offering relief to thousands of families across the country.
During a live e-court session at the BISP headquarters, Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid confirmed that the government has raised the quarterly payment under the Benazir Khawateen Kafalat Programme. Under the revised plan, each beneficiary will now receive Rs14,500, reflecting an increase of Rs1,000.
Authorities have also increased payments under the Benazir Educational Scholarships and Benazir Nashonuma Programmes. Officials raised these stipends by Rs500 to provide additional support to mothers and children, especially to help families manage rising expenses before Ramazan.
