Shehbaz Gill shows willingness to pay Naseem Shah’s fine
The PTI leader, Shehbaz Gill, also said that he would be the first person to contribute to pay Naseem Shah’s fine.
It is important to mention that Naseem Shah tweeted on his X account against the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, when she entered the Gaddafi Stadium on the opening ceremony of PSL 11.

Is political commentary allowed to national cricket players?
Several social media users also criticised Naseem Shah for doing political commentary, as social media users claimed that national cricket players shouldn’t do political commentary, as they play for the country, and they should not be political.
However, PCB has issued a show-cause notice to Naseem Shah and directed him to pay the fine of Rs 20 million for violating the PCB’S rules and policy.
Naseem Shah apologises
After the show-cause notice issued by the PCB and the imposition of a heavy fine, Naseem Shah apologised and took full responsibility for the post on X against Maryam Nawaz.
Naseem Shah wrote on X, “A recent post from my account was made by my management team and does not reflect my views.
I take full responsibility for my platform and have implemented the necessary changes to ensure this does not happen again.
