A fire has broken out at the Finance and Trade Centre on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi on Wednesday.

A fire suddenly broke out in an office building near Baloch Colony Bridge in Karachi, according to the reports.

The blaze reportedly started on the first floor, where several offices were located. No casualties have been reported yet.

Firefighters were called in, and ventilation machines were brought in while windows were opened to release smoke.

The flames were contained, and any further spread of the fire was prevented.

At present, only smoke remains in the building, as per the reports. Authorities have stated that clearing the smoke completely may take another half hour.

Some people on the 7th and 8th floors were reportedly affected by smoke inhalation. They could be seen covering their faces with cloth and masks.

The affected area has been cordoned off to prevent access. According to the reports, the authorities say there is no further risk of the fire spreading.

People are still trapped inside the Saddar mobile market, according to the reports.

According to the details, the fire erupted on the seventh floor of the market. Four fire brigade trucks were on the scene trying to extinguish the fire, according to the reports.
