PSL 11: Hyderabad Kingsmen set huge target against Multan Sultans

Hyderabad Kingsmen scored a massive 225/5 against Multan Sultans on Wednesday. Kingsmen batters, including Maaz and Sharjeel Khan, put on an excellent batting display, with both scoring fifties.

Maaz Sadaqat played a lightning-fast innings of 62 runs off 26 balls, including 5 fours and 5 sixes. Sharjeel Khan remained not out with 51 runs, while Irfan Niazi contributed 22 runs. Saim Ayub was dismissed for 27 runs, Usman Khan scored 25, and captain Marnus Labuschagne managed 8 runs, while Syed Saad Ali contributed 23 runs.

For Multan Sultans, Muhammad Wasim Jr took two wickets, and Peter Siddle and Ashton Turner claimed one wicket each. Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne elected to have Ashton Turner XI bat first.

Labuschagne stated that he would try not to repeat the mistakes of previous matches, expressing hope that Saim Ayub and Moaz Sadaqat would perform well.

In the eighth match of the Pakistan Super League Season XI, Hyderabad Kingsmen won the toss and chose to bat against Multan Sultans.

Hyderabad Kingsmen have made two changes to their lineup for the match against Multan Sultans. Sharjeel Khan has been included in place of Hammad Azam, while Muhammad Ali replaces Akif.
