It is pertinent to mention that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played an important role in ending the war between the US and Iran.
According to the UK’s prominent media outlet, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is known in the White House and a favourite of Trump’s favourite Field Marshal.
Earlier, the US President Donald Trump praised Field Marshal Asim Munir several times, and once, Trump had said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is my favourite and he is a “great fighter.”
Field Marshal Asim Munir plays key role in the ceasefire
Field Marshal Asim Munir played an important role in reducing the conflict between the US, Iran and other Gulf countries. Similarly, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif also praised Field Marshal Asim Munir for playing a significant role in the ceasefire in the Middle East.
According to The Telegraph, “Absolutely, Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, was the key negotiator. Trump places significant trust in him and values his insights on the Middle East, particularly Iran.”
The international private media outlet also confirmed that Field Marshal Asim Munir worked closely with the US Vice President JD Vance and Steve Witkoff, the special envoy to the Middle East, to end the war between the US and Iran.
