The vice president of the United States of America (US), JD Vance, has said that he is looking forward to the negotiations.

He said that we are optimistic about the peace talks, adding that the US President Trump has given instructions.

We’re looking forward to the negotiation, I think it’s going to be positive,” he said.

“The President of the United States said, If the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith, we’re certainly willing to extend the open hand. If they’re going to try to play us, then they’re going to find that the negotiating team is not that receptive,” he added.

The US vice president further added that the US wants meaningful talks with Iran.

“So we’re going to try to have a positive negotiation. The President has given us some pretty clear guidelines, and we’re going to see,” Vance said.

Peace talks between Iran and the US are set to start in Islamabad from today, on Friday, April 10 to 11.
