Crackdown against marriage halls

The government has initiated a crackdown against the marriage halls for serving more than one dish at the venues.

AC of Sargodha fined Rs200,000 per marriage hall for the breach of the regulations.

Talking about the owners of the halls, they considered this enforcement as selective enforcement.

One of the marriage hall owners even said that these restrictions are just for the ordinary ones, and the influential people are exempt from everything.

Repeated surprise visits conducted by the assistant commissioner of Sargodha have revealed that multiple breaches have been made against the regulations set by the government.
