redmi k90 max launch date

Xiaomi has announced the launch date for its new smartphone, the Redmi K90 Max, will launch on April 21 at 7:00pm.

One of the key features is a new e-sports touchscreen system.

The company is positioning the device as a gaming-focused flagship, with a focus on responsiveness and sustained performance during long sessions.

Xiaomi says this could help in fast-paced mobile games where quick reactions matter.

The device also includes a 400Hz six-axis gyroscope, aimed at improving motion-based controls.

According to the company, the display has been tested for up to one million continuous touches, suggesting a focus on durability as well as performance.

The Redmi K90 Max comes with a 6.83-inch display and a 165Hz refresh rate. It can reach peak brightness levels of up to 3500 nits.

Xiaomi says the phone is capable of running certain games at up to 165 frames per second while maintaining high-definition graphics.

The company highlighted support for this in titles such as Delta Force.

To manage heat during extended gaming sessions, the phone includes a built-in cooling fan, a first for Xiaomi smartphones.

The cooling system uses a sealed air duct and a metal structure to help regulate temperature.

Xiaomi says the fan is designed for long-term use and is supported by a six-year warranty along with lifetime maintenance.

In terms of durability, the device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It has also undergone a 50,000-hour ageing test, according to the company.

Xiaomi appears to be focusing on touch accuracy and responsiveness to stand out in the gaming phone segment.

While competitors such as ASUS ROG and iQOO often highlight physical triggers and high refresh rates, the K90 Max emphasises input precision and motion tracking.
