Qatar has praised the role of Pakistan for making efforts to end the US-Iran war in the region.
While addressing the media on Tuesday, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Dr Majed Al-Ansari, said, “The whole world is engaged with Pakistan’s mediation efforts in ending the US-Israel war on Iran.”
Dr Al-Ansari strongly rejected reports circulating about alleged secret payments with Iran, calling them baseless and misleading.

Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari clarified that all such reports have nothing to do with reality and are mere rumours aimed at damaging Qatar’s reputation.
According to the spokesman, some circles were trying to give the impression that Qatar was trying to stop attacks on the Gulf region through some secret agreement or payment with Iran.
However, he categorically rejected these claims, saying that Qatar always works under transparent and diplomatic principles and is not involved in any kind of unilateral action or secret transactions.
He added that such rumours are actually being spread in the context of ongoing tensions in the region to cast doubt on Qatar’s positive role.
Dr Al-Ansari further stated that Qatar has always believed in peace, stability, and resolving problems through dialogue, and under this policy, it has been playing a mediating role in various global disputes.
