Talking to reporters at the White House, Donald Trump said that Pakistan has been very good in the ceasefire. ‘If a deal is made with Iran, I will go to Islamabad’, he added.
Talking about Islamabad’s role, he said that Pakistan has played a fantastic role.
There has been a lot of progress in the negotiations with Iran, according to the president. ‘They should not have nuclear weapons. If there is no deal with Iran, the war will start again,’ he added further.

Donald Trump also said that I do not think it is necessary to meet Pope Leo, ‘it is very important that Pope Leo understands that Iran is a threat to the world.’
President Trump, while talking about the situation in the region, also mentioned the recent ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel and said that it is the result of his efforts.
He said that he has played a role in several ceasefires so far. And will continue his efforts to establish peace in the region.
Further, he also talked about the global market and said that oil prices are declining. Which he called a positive sign.
He added that if an agreement is reached with Iran, it will also have a positive impact on the global economy.
Prior to this, the first round of peace talks between the US and Iran took place on April 11 to 12, in Pakistan. The talks are referred to as the Islamabad peace talks 2026.
A second round of these peace talks is expected soon in Pakistan again.
