Govt announces jobs for teaching, non-teaching staff: check here

The Government of Pakistan, under the Ministry of Defence, has announced multiple job vacancies in Federal Government Educational Institutions for both Cantonments and Garrisons on Monday.

These jobs are offered on a permanent basis. The applications are open to Pakistani citizens who will meet the required criteria and age limits.

Pakistan govt teaching jobs

Several teaching jobs have been announced for both men and women.

These include the following:

  • Elementary School Teachers (BPS-14) for male and female candidates.
  • Applicants need to have at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • Librarian (BPS-15) for male candidates.
  • A graduation degree, along with a diploma in library sciences, is needed for this role.
  • Assistant Librarian (BPS-09) for female candidates with matric and a certificate in library sciences.
  • Band Master (BPS-06) is open for male candidates with a matric and a diploma in music or band training.

Pakistan non-teaching govt jobs

The department is also hiring for various non-teaching positions.

These posts include:

  • Assistant (BPS-15) is open for graduates
  • Steno Typist (BPS-14) needs to have typing and shorthand skills.
  • Accountant (BPS-14) needs to have a B.Com degree.
  • Upper Division Clerk (BPS-13) with typing and IT training needed
  • Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11) with typing and IT training needed
  • Laboratory Assistant (BPS-07) for candidates with a science background
  • Steward (BPS-07) needs to have relevant experience

Class-IV and special education posts

Some lower-grade positions are also available on a local basis.

These include a post of a Driver (BPS-04), which needs to have a valid driving license.

Sir Syed School and College of Special Education jobs

In addition to this, vacancies are announced at Sir Syed School and College of Special Education in Rawalpindi.

These posts include:

  • Drawing teacher
  • Instructor for dress making and knitting
  • Upper division clerk

Age limit, relaxation

The general age limit includes a 5-year relaxation. This means if a job lists a maximum age of 20, for example, the maximum age with the relaxation will be 25.

Further relaxation is allowed in certain cases, such as:

  • 3 years for candidates from specific regions like Sindh Rural, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB)
  • Up to 15 years for retired armed forces personnel
  • 10 years for government employees and persons with disabilities
  • 5 years for widows or children of deceased government employees

Candidates have to apply online through the official website. No hard copies of applications will be accepted.

Applicants are required to upload all necessary documents and submit the form before the deadline. Incomplete or late applications will also not be considered.
