Good news for individuals seeking government jobs: the method to check eligibility and apply has been revealed.
According to details, the ‘Strategic Planning and Implementation Unit’ under the Department of Environmental Protection and Climate Change has announced recruitment for various government positions.
These recruitments are being carried out for the completion of the World Bank-supported “Punjab Green Development Program” and other projects.
The department has invited applications for the positions of Deputy Director Procurement, Assistant Director, Assistant Director, Store Keeper, Junior Computer Operator, Driver, and Naib Qasid.
Eligibility Criteria
For these jobs, it is mandatory for the candidate to have a domicile of Punjab.
Government employees will be eligible to apply through their respective departments (along with NOC).
Application Method and Conditions
- Applications that are incomplete or have unclear handwriting will be rejected.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the test or interview.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is also advertising in Islamabad for some IT and network job vacancies for experienced professionals.
One of the key positions is for the Assistant Director who is responsible for the Windows Server Environments, Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Microsoft Exchange, and other Microsoft-related hardware and software.
The candidates shall also deal with the antivirus, patch management, backup, and group policies and routing of mails.
The applicants for the position need to have a minimum of three years’ work experience relevant to the position, and it is preferred that the candidate has certifications such as MCSE, MCP, and Exchange Server.
In network operations, job adverts include Deputy Assistant Director (NOC) and Senior Executive (Network Technician).
These positions focus on conducting network monitoring and analysis using tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios, troubleshooting issues, managing incidents, supporting LAN/WAN, servers, firewalls, and structured cabling systems.
