The National Assembly (NA) Secretariat has issued a warning to the public regarding the fake notifications and advertisements on social media about the internships in the NA.
They have alarmed the public not to pay attention to any online link, job ads, and online application portals for applying for the internships as they all are fake.
The Secretariat has clearly mentioned that no internship offer has been announced by the National Assembly of Pakistan.
It is in the best interest of the public for not clicking any link or approaching the third party websites to apply for the internships, said the officials of the Secretariat.
NA Secretariat added that a legal action will be taken against those individuals, who are spreading false information and misleading the people.
The officials explained that the Summer 2026 internship programme in the National Assembly is carried out through a proper channel.
The Secretariat selects eligible universities, and the spokesperson of the universities are contacted directly for further processing the internship programme.
The students are then shortlisted after final approval from the Secretariat.
