Pakistan Connect marked the occasion of Marka-e-Haq with a special panel discussion, bringing together some of Pakistan’s most prominent journalists and digital voices for an in-depth conversation.
Attaullah Tarar also showed up at the panel and highlighted Pakistan’s current international standing, saying that the country is “shining in the world right now” while emphasising a contrast with the situation across the eastern border.
He also said that Pakistan armed forces shot down 8 Indian jets.
He also said “Our young generation gave a befitting response to Indian warmongers through effective social media use.”
He further added, “No compromise on national dignity, praises responsible media role, says Pakistan’s future is bright”
He further stated that Pakistan enjoys a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels globally, reflecting growing recognition of its role on the international stage.
In his remarks, he also described the eastern side as experiencing “isolation, failure, and disgrace,” framing it as a comparison to Pakistan’s progress and visibility in world affairs.
The event features leading media figures including Mohammad Malick, Meher Bokhari, and Mansoor Ali Khan, alongside social media influencers, offering diverse perspectives on the significance of the day.
The discussion aims to unpack key national narratives and engage audiences in a meaningful dialogue, with the full session set to be released on Pakistan Connect’s platform.
Speaking during the panel, Meher Bokhari remarked that India remains “obsessed with Pakistan,” adding that its broader narrative is rooted in hostility toward the country.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Malick emphasised the contrast in narratives, stating that “they were selling a narrative, while we were presenting facts,” and underscored that Pakistan did not need to manufacture a narrative to support its position.
While talking to Pakistan Connect, the social media activist Saad Qaisar praised the Marka-e-Haq celebrations, calling the event well-organised and meaningful.
Reflecting on the occasion, he credited the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir for their planning and strategy, saying the response demonstrated by Pakistan was decisive. He added that the anniversary serves as an important moment to remember and celebrate.
