Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz said while speaking in a high-level meeting with Punjab officials that “I don’t take a salary, but I am here to take pressure. CM Maryam Nawaz urged officials and Punjab cabinet members to work hard.
She also said that she only sleeps for four to six hours daily. CM Maryam Nawaz also said if officials can’t work hard or are unable to handle pressure, then they need to choose another career.
Maryam Nawaz also said that I never sleep or doze during any meeting.
It is important to mention that Maryam Nawaz was elected the first female chief minister of Punjab on February 26, 2024. After becoming CM of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz gained more popularity as a female political leader.
Several analysts and social media confirmed the good performance of Maryam Nawaz as CM of Punjab. Maryam Nawaz initiated several projects for the betterment of the people of Punjab, including Suthra Punjab.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz praised her mother, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, for guiding her regarding politics and other important things about life.

In a recent interview, Maryam Nawaz shared that her mother remains her greatest role model, even years after her passing. She said that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz’s teachings continue to shape her decisions, both personally and politically.
“My mother’s guidance is always with me,” CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz said during her interview.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was also a great political personality. She worked hard for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) when the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was in jail, and the party was about to collapse.
