Two young boys killed each other in Rawalpindi on May 8 over a dispute of Rs1,300.

As per the police officials, the two youngsters exchanged gunfire after the dispute erupted over a small financial transaction.

The incident took place within the limits of Dhamyal Police Station near Pir Mehr Ali Shah Town on Chakri Road, where two groups reportedly exchanged gunfire following an argument.

According to police and eyewitness accounts, the dispute began over an amount of Rs1,300 involving a man identified as Siraj.

During the clash, Siraj and another young man, Zain, were killed.

Police said one of the victims died at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital but could not survive.

Investigators said Zain was not directly involved in the original dispute but became caught in the violence.

According to police sources, the suspects allegedly assaulted Zain before killing him.

Authorities said the accused later tied the body to a motorcycle, dragged it for some distance and left it outside a house before fleeing.

Police teams reached the area shortly after the incident and shifted the bodies to the hospital for further legal procedures.

Officials said raids are underway to arrest those involved, while an investigation has been launched to determine the full circumstances surrounding the killings.

The incident has raised concerns over violent crimes linked to personal and financial disputes in the city.

Police officials noted that earlier this year, two stamp paper vendors were also shot dead in Rawalpindi following another disagreement over money.
