In a commanding display at the Street Child Football World Cup 2026, Pakistan’s Street Children team continued their winning momentum, defeating host nation Mexico with an impressive 5-0 victory in their second group match.
According to reports, in the ongoing Street Child Football World Cup 2026 featuring teams from 30 countries, the Pakistan Street Children team defeated the strong host team, Mexico, with a stunning 5–0 victory in their second match.
Pakistan’s Kashif Khan and Isa Khan scored two goals each, while Shahid Anjum scored one goal. In their opening match, Pakistan defeated Indonesia 2–0, with both goals scored by Kashif Khan.
Various events for both girls and boys are being held as part of the tournament. The Street Child World Cup is a youth-led movement focused on the rights, protection and recognition of street children around the world.
The Pakistan team, participating under the organisation Muslim Hands, an organisation dedicated to education and social change through sports, will also take part in the United Nations General Assembly.
It is mentioned here that the Pakistan team won the silver medal, finishing in second place, in the Street Child Football World Cup held in Qatar in 2022. Meanwhile, the Pakistani players and team management dedicated both victories to the struggle for truth and to the armed forces of Pakistan, paying tribute to their sacrifices, bravery, and national service.
The Pakistan Street Children team includes Abdullah, Mubashir Shah, Muhammad Hammad, Nadeem Hussain, Muhammad Mustafa, Muhammad Isa, Shahid Anjum, Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Bilal, and Muhammad Ibrahim.
