The Sindh government has announced summer holidays for all public and private educational institutions across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Education Department, schools will remain closed from June 1 to July 31.
Officials said the vacations will apply equally to all public and private schools to provide relief to students and teachers amid intense heat.
Earlier, the Punjab government had also announced extended summer vacations across the province.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said summer vacations in educational institutions across Punjab will begin on May 22, while schools will reopen on August 24.
