There is important news for students appearing in intermediate examinations, as the education board has started issuing roll numbers and admit slips.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has begun issuing roll number slips to Class 12 candidates ahead of the first annual intermediate examinations.
According to the board’s official statement, no candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination under any circumstances outside their assigned group and examination centre.
The statement also clarified that any public or local holidays during the examination period will not affect the 2026 date sheet.
How to download the roll number slip PDF
Regular students can collect their admit cards from their respective educational institutions, while private candidates can download their admit cards online through the following method:
Open the official BISE Lahore website: BISE Lahore Official Website
Then enter any one of the following details:
- Form number according to the admission form
- Current examination roll number
- Previous roll number
- Reference number
- Full name according to the admission form
- Father’s full name according to the admission form
After entering one of the above details, click on the “Get Roll Number Slip” button.
The roll number slip will appear on the screen and can be downloaded in PDF format on a mobile phone or computer.
It is worth mentioning that the Intermediate Part-II examinations under the Lahore Board will begin from May 20.
Timetable issued for government schools
In a separate development, a new timetable was issued for government schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the notification, primary schools will start at 7:30 am, while closing time will be 1:35 pm.
Morning assembly will now include moral training, student speeches on different topics, and practical activities. These have been made mandatory.
Students will receive moral education three days a week through speeches and three days through skits.
School heads have been directed to organise a weekly “Bazm-e-Adab” on the last working day.
After the literary session, the last three periods will be used for staff meetings and completion of registers.
In case of teacher shortages or long leave, headteachers and subject specialists will take classes.
All District Education Officers have been instructed to ensure strict implementation of the timetable in schools.
