Startling details emerge over the double murder case in Rawalpindi

Startling details have emerged in the case involving the double murder of two young men over a petty financial dispute in Rawalpindi area of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Town on Chakri Road.

According to hospital sources, victim Zain Shah was not only brutally tortured to death but his body was dragged as suggested from the bruises on his body.

Police also confirmed that  Zain Shah died due to torture and later his body was tied behind a motorbike and dragged on roads in the area

Initial investigations revealed Siraj, hailing from Waziristan, was shot dead outside the house of Zain where he along with his relatives went after a fight with Zain in the general store owned by Siraj over the issue of payment of Rs1,300.

Police said that after Siraj’s death, his relatives and friends allegedly captured Zain Shah and subjected him to brutal violence, which proved fatal.

According to police, a case over Siraj’s death has been registered on the complaint of his father, who accused Aoun Chaudhry, a friend of deceased Zain Shah, of opening fire.

Meanwhile, eight suspects have been taken into custody over allegations of torturing and attacking Zain Shah. However, the main suspects are still absconding and raids are underway for their arrest.

Police said investigations are continuing from multiple angles.
