Islamabad to host high-level Regional Envoys’ Conference

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will convene a Regional Envoys’ Conference in Islamabad from May 14 to 18, 2026, bringing together diplomatic representatives to review key regional and global developments.

The high-level gathering is expected to provide a platform for envoys to assess evolving geopolitical trends and coordinate Pakistan’s diplomatic approach across key international engagements.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, in a message on X, noted that the conference will also assess Pakistan’s bilateral relations with its brotherly countries, with discussions expected to cover a wide range of political, economic and strategic areas of cooperation.

The forum will serve as an important opportunity to evaluate shifting geopolitical dynamics and to strengthen coordination across Pakistan’s diplomatic missions abroad. The recommendations emerging from the conference are expected to help further deepen Pakistan’s bilateral ties and enhance engagement with partner nations.

Reaffirming its foreign policy direction, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to proactive diplomacy and sustained regional engagement, noting that such consultative gatherings play a vital role in shaping cohesive and forward-looking diplomatic strategies.
