Anti-Narcotics Force cancels written tests

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) cancelled the written tests for multiple posts scheduled for May 14, 15, and 16. The written tests of ANF for various posts were scheduled for May 14, 15 and 16.

According to the information, the tests for Inspector, Sub-Inspector, and Constable/Constable driver were scheduled for May 14, 15, and 16, respectively. However, the department cancelled the scheduled written tests without providing any reason.

Earlier, the department had issued the roll number slips of candidates for the written tests of Inspector, Sub-Inspector, and Constable/ Constable driver.

The Anti-Narcotic Force is a federal law enforcement agency, and the major responsibility of ANF is to control drug trafficking in the country. The department also investigates drug offences.

Earlier, the Intermediate and Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) released countrywide statistics on the results of intermediate examinations and the results of the Boards examinations, which showed that over 400,000 students failed to pass annual examinations in the Intermediate stage and the Boards examination stage, according to media reports.

Based on the statistics, Punjab had the most number of failures. In examinations that were held by nine boards, 759,431 students sat the tests, with 270,068 not passing their exams.

Exams were administered to 282,585 students in eight educational boards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 5,316 failing the tests.
