The well-known journalist Zahid Gishkori has claimed that former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan owns commercial shops and a luxury apartment in the upscale One Constitution Avenue project in Islamabad.
Zahid Gishkori wrote on X, “Imran Khan’s commercial shops in Constitution Avenue have come to light! The founder of PTI also owns a luxury flat in Constitution Avenue. According to the current market, Imran Khan’s properties in One Constitution are worth fifty crore, which he purchased at that time when he was the prime minister”
According to the claims shared by the journalist, the PTI founder allegedly purchased the properties during his tenure as prime minister. The report further stated that the current market value of the properties is estimated at around Rs500 million.
The alleged assets include commercial units as well as a high-end flat located in the One Constitution Avenue complex, one of Islamabad’s most expensive real estate projects.
The claims quickly sparked debate on social media, where political supporters and critics reacted strongly to the report. However, no official documents or detailed property records were publicly released alongside the claims.
Neither Imran Khan nor the PTI leadership has issued an official response to the claims so far.
Journalist Zahid Gishkori also confirmed the news to Pakistan Connect during a phone call.
The development has once again fueled political discussion regarding asset declarations and property ownership of major political figures in Pakistan.
