LPG prices increased gas cylinders become costly

As the public continues to battle rising inflation, the prices of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) have once again been increased by Rs 4.95 per kg with immediate effect.

Ongoing tensions in the Middle East continue to impact the energy sector, and Pakistan is also feeling the effects in LPG prices.

OGRA has increased LPG prices by Rs 4.95 per kg. Due to this hike, the price of a 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs 58.51.

For June, the new LPG cylinder price has been set at Rs 3,643.41. The per kg LPG price has reached Rs 308.76.

According to OGRA, the new prices are effective immediately. Consumers will now face higher household energy costs.
