The Army Museum Lahore has announced its Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2026. It is providing students from universities and colleges across Pakistan with an opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment.
The programme is designed to help young people improve their skills and gain workplace exposure during their summer break. Selected interns will be called to work alongside experienced professionals and take part in a variety of departmental activities. These activities are intended to enhance communication abilities, teamwork, leadership qualities, and organisational skills.
Further, the programme aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and experiential learning by allowing students to participate in practical assignments and projects.
The internship also offers participants an opportunity to learn about Pakistan’s military history, cultural heritage, and museums. Interns will gain exposure to areas such as research, documentation, public engagement, management and preservation of historical artefacts. This experience will make sure students develop a better understanding of how museums operate and contribute to preserving national history.
Army Museum Lahore is recognised as one of Pakistan’s leading military heritage institutions. It serves as an educational and cultural centre and promotes the country’s military history and achievements. Through Summer Internship Programme, the museum seeks to encourage learning and provide meaningful opportunities for youth development.
Applicants interested in joining the internship are advised to carefully fill in all required details through application process and submit before the deadline. The museum has encouraged eligible students from across the country to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their professional profiles and expand their networks.
However, the growing importance of internships in today’s competitive job market has made such programmes increasingly valuable. Students are able to build their profiles and develop skills that will benefit them in their future academic and professional careers.
