Samina Peerzada expresses wish for visa on arrival between Pakistan, India

Popular Pakistani senior actress and director Samina Peerzada has expressed her wish to make travel easier between Pakistan and India for ordinary people while talking in a recent interview.

The actress also suggested introducing a visa on arrival for citizens of both countries.

In a recent interview, Samina Peerzada said that she has many close friends in India. These include her friends in Delhi and Mumbai.

She said that she has known them for many years. However, she said travel restrictions stop her from meeting them. She said this makes her very sad.

Further, the actress added that she often remembers her friends in India and feels they also want to meet her.

Samina Peerzada said that she wishes to visit Amritsar one day and get a visa near the border. She also said that Indian visitors should be given the same facilities when they come to Pakistan.

She said this issue is not only political or diplomatic for her. She said it is also about human and emotional relations.

According to her, artists and creative people still manage to meet in different countries. However, she said ordinary people should also have the same freedom.

She added that if people can meet in cities like London and Dubai, then there should be no reason why people in Lahore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Karachi cannot meet each other.
