The Armed members of a banned group identified as JAAC reportedly attacked CMH Rawalakot, according to initial reports. One Pakistan Rangers soldier was martyred in the incident, while several police personnel were injured.
Security officials said the attackers targeted the facility in an armed assault, causing casualties among law enforcement forces.

The terrorist banned JAAC, attacked CMH Rawalakot during the funeral of Shahzaib, officials and initial reports said.
According to preliminary information, the attackers, armed with modern weapons, opened direct fire during what is believed to be a coordinated and pre-planned incident carried out under the cover of the funeral gathering.
As a result of the firing, three personnel of the Azad Kashmir Police and one Frontier Constabulary (FC) soldier were martyred. More than 20 security personnel sustained bullet injuries and were shifted for medical treatment.
Officials said the nature of the attack and the tactics used indicate careful planning and coordination. They added that the incident appears to be a serious security breach carried out by armed elements linked to JAAC.
Authorities said security forces will take strict action against those involved. They added that planners, facilitators, and attackers will be identified and brought to justice, and the writ of the state will be maintained at all costs.
It is important to mention that all four security personnel were targeted with 7.62mm banned-bore bullets, sources said.
