This month, Honor appears to be adding a Pro Max smartphone to its lineup, the X80 Pro Max, following Huawei’s lead.
The official launch is expected by the end of June, featuring a large battery, impressive charging capabilities, and a premium design.
Honor updates its X-series phones annually. The X70 was introduced in July last year, equipped with an 8300mAh battery. In 2026, the company is expected to unveil exciting new features, not only in specifications but also in the device’s naming.
According to DigitalChatStation, the long-awaited Honor X80 will be launched as the Honor X80 Pro Max later this month.
Honor X80 Pro Max specs
Instead of a 10000mAh battery, it is likely to come with an even larger 11000mAh battery and support for 90W fast charging.
The smartphone will sport a 6.8-inch OLED flat display with a resolution of 2788 x 1280 pixels. This screen will be mounted on a right-angle frame, providing a sleek design. Additionally, it will feature ultra-narrow bezels.
The X80 Pro Max is expected to have a flagship-level design. It remains unclear whether it will retain the same camera module or introduce new color options.
For its chipset, the Honor X80 Pro Max may be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile SoC, a high-end mid-range 4nm processor with an octa-core setup.
The About Phone section indicates that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile platform, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Numerous sources on Chinese social media have shared live images of the Honor X80 Pro Max, showcasing its full design.
The back of the phone, made of plain leather, appears very smooth. It features a cream color with a wide red stripe at the bottom, displaying the HONOR logo in a contrasting colored box.
On the front, there is a single punch-hole design on a flat screen with rounded corners and sleek edges.
