The United States (US) President Donald Trump on Monday said that the talks between the US and Iran will resume tomorrow (Tuesday) in Doha at the request of Iran. However Iran has rejected any such prospect.
Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social account, “IRAN HAS REQUESTED A MEETING. IT WILL TAKE PLACE TOMORROW IN DOHA.”

Iran rejects claims
On the other hand, Iran rejected the claim of talks between the two countries in Doha this week. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed that the reports regarding the talks between the US and Iran in Doha are not true.
“Technical meetings of the working groups are not scheduled for this week,” he said.
“The first round of technical talks within the designated working groups will be held once conditions are met and after agreement is reached on the date and venue,” he further added.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Gulf countries showed no support for the Hormuz toll, the private media outlet reported on Thursday. He also said that the GCC states meeting didn’t discuss the reconstruction fund for Iran.
“We had a very productive meeting,” Rubio said after the GCC meeting in Bahrain.
Rubio said during a GCC meeting in Bahrain that the US will not recognise the Strait of Hormuz as belonging to a single country. He further added that the US will ensure the protection of its economic interests as well as the interests of its allies through the US-Iran deal.
