Seven of the family members were hospitalised due to food poisoning over eating the leftover food in Lodhran.
On June 29, seven members of one family ate left over food late at night, due to which they started vomiting and fell ill.
The family was resided in the Chitti Masjid area, Mailsi road Kahroor Pacca, Lodhran.
According to the rescue officials, ambulances were immediately sent to the location after they got an emergency call.
They added that the rescue teams gave first aid to the victims on the spot, and shifted them to the THQ Hospital Kahroor Pacca for further treatment.
The victims that got food poisoning were recognised by the names, including Allah Bakhsh-45, Ansar Bibi-42, Shahzad-40, Mumtaz Mai-40, Sughran Mai-35, Akmal-10, and Rubina Bibi-15.
The District Emergency Officer (DEO), Engineer Shabab Aslam, also advised the public not to consume leftover food that has been cooked over long period of time.
He said that people should stay aware and avoid consuming improperly stored food to prevent the diseases like food poisoning.
According to the media reports, the victims are yet under intensive care and in stable condition.
