Ministry invites feedback from private Hajj pilgrims until July 20

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has asked pilgrims who performed Hajj through private tour operators last year to share their feedback.

According to an official statement, pilgrims can submit complaints, objections or suggestions regarding private Hajj companies until July 20.

The ministry’s spokesperson said that complaints must be signed and supported with relevant evidence and documentation. All submissions will be reviewed in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

The statement added that the renewal or cancellation of licenses for private Hajj companies will now be based on their performance. Complaints received from pilgrims will be considered during the license renewal and evaluation process.

The spokesperson also stated that the Ministry has obtained a 5 per cent performance guarantee from private Hajj companies. Pilgrims are advised to send their complaints by post or email before July 20. Complaints received after the deadline will not be considered.

On the other hand, more than 200,000 pilgrims completed their Hajj registration from home through Pakistan’s online Hajj registration system within just 11 days.

According to official details, Pakistan’s online Hajj registration system has received a record response from intending pilgrims. During the first 11 days of registration, more than 200,000 applicants completed their Hajj registration from the comfort of their homes.

Of these, approximately 180,000 registered through the official web portal, while around 24,000 completed their registration using the mobile application.

Regarding the choice of Hajj schemes, more than 154,000 applicants opted for the Government Hajj Scheme, while approximately 49,000 selected the Private Hajj Scheme.
