US Embassy in Islamabad announced to resume consulate services in Lahore and Karachi from July 20.
The US Embassy in Islamabad wrote on X, “Great news, Pakistan! The U.S. Consulates in Lahore and Karachi are reopening for regular consular services. Lahore for U.S. Citizen Services and Karachi for U.S. Citizen Services + Non-Immigrant Visa Processing. Whether you are applying for a visa or need American citizen services, visit the official U.S. Embassy website to get started https://pk.usembassy.gov”
Earlier, the US Consulates were closed after the March 1 deadly protest in front of the US Consulate Karachi after the martyrdom of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The US Embassy in Islamabad insisted that applicants book visa appointments through the official US Embassy website without paying a single penny to any visa agent.
