Former TV host Iqrar-ul-Hassan has revealed that he never planned to marry more than once after his first marriage.
Speaking on Hina Khan’s talk show, he said that his two marriages were not planned, and they happened due to unforeseen circumstances.
In 2023, Iqrar’s third marriage to TV anchor Aroosa Khan was confirmed. At the time, his second wife, Farah, said the marriage had not affected her and that her routine remained unchanged. She also stated that, under Shariah, a man is permitted to marry four wives.
Earlier, in a podcast, Iqrar revealed that all three of his marriages were love marriages. However, he said he has a unique love and respect for his first wife, Qurat-ul-Ain Iqrar.
According to reports, the couple married in 2006 and share a son. Iqrar has only one child from his three marriages.
Iqrar has remained under constant public scrutiny for his multiple marriages and his openness about them on social media.
