The Pakistani javelin thrower will depart for Switzerland tomorrow Monday to participate in an international event ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Recalling his 2022 Commonwealth Games triumph, Arshad said the memories of breaking the event record are still fresh. He added that while four years have passed, there is pressure to maintain his status as champion and deliver another strong performance.

He added that he is the first Pakistani athlete in history to directly qualify for the Olympics and requested fans to pray for his fitness and continued success.
