Security forces launched intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against Fitna al Khawarij in several areas of Bannu, with explosions reported during the operation after a terrorist explosive cache detonated.

According to security sources, the operations were carried out in the Narmi Khel, Baka Khel and Takhti Khel areas based on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists.

During the operation, multiple explosions were heard, which sources said were caused by the detonation of an explosive stockpile belonging to the terrorists.

Following the blasts, security forces launched a clearance operation in the area to eliminate any remaining threats and secure the affected locations.
