Following the bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening, a high alert has been issued in India.
In Rajasthan, the Border Security Force (BSF) has increased vigilance in districts along the India-Pakistan border. Including Sri Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Barmer, reports the Indian media.
BSF Deputy Commandant Ravindra Singh Rathore said special measures have been put in place after the Delhi incident. As per the Indian media reports.
All posts and officers have been instructed to monitor border activity closely. Indian media reported that patrolling has been intensified, and the BSF remains fully alert to any unusual movement across the border.
Modi’s New Bihar Election Theme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed that the perpetrators of the Red Fort blast in New Delhi “will not be spared.” He has promised that those responsible for the blast will face justice.
In his first public remarks following the explosion, Modi emphasised that the attack would not go unpunished.
Switching briefly from Hindi to English during his address, he stated, “All those responsible will be brought to justice.”
According to analysts, this is an attempt by Modi to turn the blast into an election theme in Bihar, framing it as a call to “avenge” the attack.
