In the match played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan achieved the target of 289 runs against Sri Lanka in 49 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
The highlight of the match was Babar Azam’s brilliant and unbeaten century, while Mohammad Rizwan remained not out with 51 runs.
Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after scoring 78 and 33 runs, respectively. With this victory, Pakistan has taken a decisive 2-0 lead over Sri Lanka.

Pakistan Opts to Field
Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first against Sri Lanka in the second One-Day International of the three-match series in Rawalpindi on Friday.
Pakistan’s ODI captain, Shaheen Afridi, was ruled out of the match after falling ill with the flu.
Stand-in skipper Salman Ali Agha confirmed, “Shaheen is unwell, and Faheem also misses out. Abrar Ahmed and Wasim Jr come in.”
In the first ODI, Pakistan secured a narrow six-run victory over Sri Lanka. Batting first, Pakistan posted 299 for five in their fifty overs, with Salman Agha scoring 105 and Hussain Talat contributing 62. Sri Lanka, in response, managed 293 for nine in their allotted overs.
