Nawaz Sharif Returns to London

Nawaz sharif leaves for London

RAIWIND: Former prime minister and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif has departed from Jati Umra for London.

According to sources, he will undergo a medical checkup in London and is expected to stay for about two weeks.

Nawaz Sharif’s departure to London comes just weeks after he returned to Pakistan to cast his vote on the 27th Constitutional Amendment in Parliament.

The amendment, which has full support from government allies, relates to military courts and judicial reforms.

According to insiders within the PML-N, his return strengthened his political significance and position within the party ahead of the upcoming elections.

Party sources claim that Nawaz Sharif’s trip is purely for medical follow-up, and he will return home once his checkup is complete.

However, political analysts say the visit also carries political weight, given his ongoing legal cases and the party’s narrative.

It is worth noting that Nawaz Sharif had previously gone to London for medical treatment in 2020 and stayed there for an extended period.

His latest trip has sparked interest once again, especially at a time when constitutional and parliamentary activities are at their peak in the country.
