Pakistani renowned singer Abrar Ul Haq has postponed his scheduled concert in Middlesbrough following the tragic fire at a nursery at PIMS, which claimed the lives of victims. The singer expressed his grief and said he delayed the concert out of respect for those affected by the tragedy.
The concert has now been rescheduled for September. Organisers have confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date. Ibrar revealed that his Middlesbrough concert had received an overwhelming response and was nearly sold out. However, after discussing the situation with his team and friends, he decided to postpone the event as a gesture of respect and condolence.

It is worth mentioning here that fourteen newborn babies died after a fire erupted in the nursery of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad on Wednesday. PIMS authorities said 15 infants were present in the nursery when the blaze broke out. Rescue teams managed to save only one baby, while the remaining 14 lost their lives in the incident.
Rescue officials said the fire began at around 6:45 am, reportedly after an air-conditioner compressor exploded inside the nursery. The blaze quickly spread through the facility, which is located on the third floor of the hospital’s Mother and Child Health (MCH) ward. The district administration said the infants were severely affected by the intense fire.
Emergency response teams were dispatched to the hospital immediately after receiving the alert. According to the administration, six fire engines and four ambulances participated in the rescue and firefighting operation.
